I saw Libor Hajek play several times and never really came away impressed at all. In fact, I’m a bit surprised that I don’t have much to say about him at all one way or another. Perhaps, that’s a good thing for a d-man. While he certainly won’t win any contests for offensive abilities there is something to be said for playing the game without making any glaring errors. I think that Hajek’s game, to play a safe, smart and conservative game. There are some teams out there who might really think he’s got some solid shutdown potential and when you’re talking about #40 in this year’s draft, that’s decent value.
