I like Ivan Lodnia, I like the way he works for every inch of ice that he gets. He is a creative playmaker with good anticipation and just solid all-around skill. He works and competes hard and isn’t afraid to take the body even though his smaller frame ( 5’11” – 175lbs) probably makes that less effective than it should be. Having said that, I think he’s probably going to fill out a bit so that he’s more effective. He was used in many different situations in Erie which shows you his versatility.

My comparable for him is Matt Read and I think he probably turns out like that, as a depth guy who’s going to mostly play on your 3rd line and second PP unit but can fill-in on the higher lines when needed. I think as a late 2nd / early 3rd round pick is probably where I think he’ll end up getting drafted and right where I have him ranked.
