Adam Ruzicka is a real wildcard. In my viewings of this player, he’s just incredibly inconsistent. He kind of shows you flashes of what he can do and then goes on stretches where he’s real quiet. The kid has ideal size for a big center or winger at close to 6’4″ – 210 lbs and he’s a pretty good skater as well. For me he’s just wildly inconsistent not only from game to game but shift to shift. He’s a talented kid who just kind of leaves you wanting more but perhaps that’s a little unfair. After all, he just completed his first season in North America playing for Sarnia (OHL) and put up some good numbers.

My comparable for him is Patrik Berglund and I don’t think I could find a better player to describe Ruzicka. Just like how on some nights, you wonder why Patrik Berglund is ‘only’ playing on the 3rd line and other nights when you wonder how he was drafted as a first round pick.

To sum it up, you take the good with the bad….he could be quite the find if he develops some consistency and remains engaged for longer periods.
