FLOOR : AHL Call-up

Ben Mirageas is a smooth-skating two-way d-man who makes a good first pass out of the zone and plays a steady game. He’s a solid puck-mover and can provide some offense from the blueline but I wouldn’t consider him an offensive threat. He’s set for Providence College in the fall where he’ll continue to develop. I believe he will need to get stronger and will need to improve his positioning…he can get caught chasing guys at times.

My comparable for him is Mark Barberio and it might take some time for him to get there but he’s got a shot at someday possibly becoming a bottom pairing two-way d-man.
