Grant Mismash Scouting Report:

This is my scouting report on US NTDP winger Grant Mismash. One of the few, true power forward-types in this draft, I am a huge fan of Grant Mismash. I just love the way he plays the game. He’s a strong two-way player with a very good skill set. He’s a pretty good skater with an excellent work ethic and he plays a tenacious game. He battles hard in the corners and against the boards and probably has an underrated offensive game. He’s a physical and defensively responsible player. Mismash is set to continue his development at the University of North Dakota starting this fall.

I think Mismash is a guy who compares favourably with a player like Nick Foligno. Just like Foligno, it’s likely going to take some time for him to develop but gradually he’ll get there. This guy is one of my favourites and I think he has Top-6 upside but could easily adapt his game to play anywhere in the lineup and that’s where the value is for me. A really safe pick.
