NHL COMPARABLE : Michael Raffl
POTENTIAL : Top-9 Grinding Winger
CEILING: 3rd Line LW
FLOOR: AHL Call-up

In my viewings of Boris Katchouk, I always came away somewhat disappointed. It’s not that he’s a bad player it’s just that it seems like this is a guy with all the tools that just leaves you wanting more and wondering ‘what if he could put it all together’? Perhaps I only caught games where he didn’t impress and he’s a bit up and down but I am not sold on him being anything more than a 3rd line grinding LW that’s hard to play against. That’s still not too shabby though. He plays a 200ft game and could make the NHL in a depth role if all goes right for him.
