NHL COMPARABLE: Valeri Nichushkin

UPSIDE: Top-6 Winger

Coming up for a comparable for Scherbak wasn’t easy. He’s got a bit of Malkin in him and a bit of Nichushkin in him. One of my favorites this year, this guy is just a joy to watch. He could become a real impact player in the NHL. At worst, he’s a second liner who puts up his share of points. He didn’t have a lot of help in Saskatoon this year, imagine if he had been on a stacked team, he would have easily cracked 100 points, in my opinion.
