COMPARABLE : Dominic Moore
UPSIDE : 3rd/4th Line Depth Forward

In my opinion, Josh Norris might be the most overrated prospect in this year’s draft. In all my viewings, I didn’t once think to myself that he had first round talent. Norris does a lot of things well but nothing really great. He had an excellent opportunity to showcase himself at the U18 tournament playing a lot of minutes with some excellent linemates and my impression coming away was ‘just ok’. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for a guy that’s set to be a 1st or 2nd round pick.

My feeling is that late 3rd round value with this player is probably right on the money. My comparable for Norris is Dominic Moore as I find they are both players that tend to fly under the radar but play hard and compete. I really don’t see his upside as any higher than that and that’s if everything goes perfectly well with his development. I actually hope I am wrong on this one, as I was a big fan of his dad Dwayne when he played for the Cornwall Aces. He looks like a real good kid.
